Do I need a GP referral?
No. Book yourself online.
Which appointment should I book?
If your ear is blocked and not painful, book Basic. If you have pain, discharge or a suspected infection, book Comprehensive.
Do I still pay if no wax is found?
Yes. Your fee is for a complete appointment: the clinician’s time and expertise, a consultation, a full ear examination, and wax removal if you need it. Wax removal is included when it’s needed, not charged as a separate service. If it isn’t wax, we’ll tell you what we found, advise on next steps and write to your GP.
How long does it take?
Basic takes about 10–15 minutes. Comprehensive takes about 20–25 minutes.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, 16 and over. Younger patients can be seen at our Lucan clinic.
How do I pay?
Full payment online at booking. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead for a full refund. If you’re running late, there’s a 30-minute grace period.
